In an effort to keep our customers up-to-date on power outages, Cleveland Public Power is introducing a GIS (geographic information system) map highlighting feeder outages. Feeders are power distribution lines that transmit power from substations to transformers and power lines feeding into your homes.
The map provides an overview of areas impacted by a widespread power outage. This information represents the feeders (power distribution lines) currently out of service. This map does not provide information on small isolated outages. Highlighted areas represent known outages, and crews are responding to the area.
How to use the map:
- Click on the magnifying glass icon to activate the search field and enter your address to see if you are in the impacted area.
- Hover your mouse over the highlighted areas to see the outage area
